JYP’s GOT7 teases first music video
New male group GOT7 released a teaser of its upcoming music video yesterday, according to its agency, JYP Entertainment.The seven members of the group ride motorized scooters and strut through alleyways in the teaser film. The agency has said that the use of the scooters shows how the GOT7 members are energetic and freely express their characters.
The all-male group, the first the agency is introducing in six years, will have some members who are not Koreans. This is expected to help the band promote its albums internationally. In fact, GOT7 is already receiving offers to work with overseas music labels.
It has been said that GOT7 can make its debut in other countries at the same time as it debuts in Korea.
The full version of the music video will be released tomorrow, and the team will present its first performance in a showcase. GOT7’s official TV debut will be on “M Countdown,” a music show on Mnet, the following day.
The group’s album will be released on Jan. 20.
