Another big weekend for ‘Attorney’

Actor Song Kang-ho’s “The Attorney” topped the Korean box office for a fourth consecutive weekend.
With more than 9.2 million admissions as of Sunday, “Attorney” is already the eighth-biggest Korean movie of all time and looks certain to top 10 million, according to the Korean Film Council.
Since being released on Dec. 18, “Attorney” has made 67.4 billion won ($63.8 million). It made 6 billion won over the weekend, with just more than 799,000 admissions.
In the No. 2 spot for a third weekend was another Korean movie, “The Suspect,” which earned 2.6 billion won over the weekend to bring its total box office sales to more than 27 billion won.
There was only one other Korean film in the top 10, the newly released “The Plan Man,” which opened in fourth place, making just over 2 billion won.
The third, fourth, fifth and sixth-place movies were all new openings last weekend.
The animated film “Tarzan 3-D” finished in third, while director Martin Scorsese’s “The Wolf of Wall Street” opened in fifth with 1.5 billion won over the weekend.
The latest Pokemon movie, “Genesect and the Legend Awakened,” was sixth place.
