'Dad' second season features same title, different cast

At end of this month, new cast members will appear on MBC's popular reality show "Dad, Where Are You Going?" but the broadcaster decided to drop the "second" season title.

Even though a majority of the members on the ongoing show will be changed, the program will keep the same name without adding any numbers.

Industry experts speculate that the decision was made because the program will keep its original format. The reality show focuses on fathers who take their children on overnight camping trips.

The show will be broadcasted at the end of this month along with the new cast members, although the exact air date has not been confirmed yet.

Ahn Jung-hwan, a former national team football player for Korea, will join the show, which launched in January last year.

Actor Ryu Jin of the KBS drama "Prime Minister and I" and singer Kim Jin-pyo are also joining as members, as well as entertainer Kim Sung-joo and singer Yoon Min-soo.

While Yoon will continue to be on the program with his son Yoon Hoo, Kim is taking his second-eldest son Min-yool instead of Min-gook, who has already been on the program.
