Throughout January: Il Ponte, the Millennium Seoul Hilton’s popular Italian trattoria, will host a monthlong promotion showcasing hot Italian spices.
The special menu will feature spaghetti with clams in a spicy olive oil sauce and beef tenderloin with mushroom sauce served with potatoes and stuffed with red and green chili. The set menu is priced at 87,000 won ($82) per person, including tax and service charges.

Jan. 27 to Feb. 3: The hotel presents the New Year Mix’n’Match Package, a customized package you get to create.
The package is based on a one-night stay in a Superior Room, plus the chance to add a variety of options for 70,000 won each. The first option, ideal for guests accompanied by children, includes access to a game zone on the seventh floor of the hotel. A variety of games are offered, including the traditional Korean board game yutnori. The game zone will also have a semi-buffet with pasta, pizza and other snacks. This option is only available on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1.
Other options include room upgrades, a buffet breakfast at the all-day dining restaurant The Cafe@JW. The package is available for 160,000 won with accommodation only. Tax and service charges are extra.

Through Feb. 2: The hotel is introducing a package to celebrate Lunar New Year. Guests who stay at the hotel through this package are able to participate in a sure-win “Try Your Luck” yutnori game. Each yutnori game costs 20,000 won per room, excluding taxes, and participants will win at least one prize worth more than 20,000 won. Prizes include accommodation vouchers and dining vouchers.

Throughout this year: Weddings at the Lotte Hotel Seoul get a new style for 2014, thanks to the famed stylist Jung Yun-ki, who works for such A-list celebrities such as Jun Ji-hyun, Jung Woo-sung and Lee Jung-jae. He has now joined hands with Lotte Hotel as a wedding consultant, planning weddings and running a boutique.
His first presentation, titled “Becoming Dream with YK Jung Wedding Show,” will be held on Feb. 12 in the Crystal Ballroom. The show is divided into two sessions, one at 2 p.m. and the other at 6:30 p.m., designed to provide a peek at wedding trends in the year ahead.
In addition, Lotte Hotel Seoul offers a Smart Wedding Promotion in July and August for people who prefer a smaller wedding at a reasonable price. Appropriate for 40 to 100 guests, the Smart Wedding Promotion offers an authentic French menu, flower decorations, an altar, guest tables, a bride’s waiting room, wedding cake, champagne, complimentary stay in the hotel room on the night of the wedding, breakfast for two and a free wedding menu tasting for two, all for 100,000 won ($94) per person, including tax and service charges.
