Broadcaster SBS will welcome a new host to its music program “Popular Song.”
Young actress Lee Yu-bi, who rocketed to fame with the KBS drama “Innocent Man” in 2012, confirmed yesterday that she will be a regular host on the program, following many local media reports that she had been offered the part.
As Lee has not been very active on entertainment shows until now, many industry experts expect her to bring some freshness to “Popular Song.”
Two out of the three current hosts, actor Lee Hyun-woo and Bang Min-ah of the girl group Girl’s Day, will soon be stepping down from the program.
The third host, Children of Empire group member Hwang Kwang-hee, will stay.
The broadcaster is still looking for one more MC.
