Kumho Asiana Group Chairman Park Sam-koo has been calling for a “second foundation” of the group as he encourages employees to overcome the current fiscal crunch, according to the group yesterday.
Park has frequently attended meetings with employees and executives since New Year’s Day and accompanied them on hiking trips and seminars. During the meetings, the chairman urged them to join forces to complete the debt-workout program under which the country’s 18th-largest conglomerate has been in since 2010, it said.
“Kumho Asiana became stronger when it overcame a crisis,” Park told a strategic management seminar at Kumho E&C on Jan. 18.
