‘Infinite Challenge’ heads to Jamaica

Several hosts from MBC’s popular variety show “Infinite Challenge” left for Jamaica yesterday to attend a reggae festival, according to local media reports yesterday.

“No Hong-chul, Haha, Jung Hyung-don and our guest Skull left today,” said an official from MBC. “We bought the tickets at the last minute. The hosts and crew will stay in Jamaica for a week.”

The “Infinite Challenge” team was invited to the Caribbean nation by the Ministry of Tourism and Entertainment for Reggae Month.

Skull, whose real name is Jo Sung-jin, was invited because he is one of Korea’s few reggae performers and a good friend of Haha, whose real name is Ha Dong-hoon.

The festival kicked off on Feb. 2 and involves various events related to reggae in a bid to boost the reggae industry and attract tourists.

With three hosts in Jamaica, the rest of the show’s presenters, including Yoo Jae-suk, Park Myung-soo, Jung Jun-ha and Gil, are focusing on individual projects in Korea.
