In honor of Yumin

Yumin Hall, located in the first floor lobby of the SNU Law School, was built in 2003 and commemorates the late Hong Jin-ki, the former chairman of the JoongAng Ilbo and Tongyang Broadcasting Company, for his contributions in legal circles. The late Hong’s pen name was Yumin. The hall was remodeled to serve as a rest area and study space for students and faculty.
