Super Junior ends world tour

The Korean boy band Super Junior finished its world tour on Saturday after attracting 450,000 fans worldwide, the group’s agency SM Entertainment said yesterday.

The finale of the 28 performances was held in Beijing on Saturday and the members performed some of their most popular songs, including “Sorry, Sorry” and “Mr. Simple.” The group also had unit stages and special performances.

The 13 members embarked on their world tour “Super Show 5” in March in Seoul and toured about 20 cities, including Sao Paulo, Brazil; Santiago, Chile; Osaka, Japan; Buenos Aires; Macao; and Beijing for 11 months.

The group reportedly drew more fans to its concerts in South America than any other Korean singers who have performed there.

With the tour’s completion, some of the members will meet their Korean fans through unit groups such as Super Junior-M and Dong-hae & Eun-hyuk.
