Renault Samsung plans exclusive taxi service center
Renault Samsung Motors, the Korean unit of French automaker Renault, said yesterday it will offer an after-sale shop only for taxis under its brand, the first local car company to do so.RSM said it has signed a partnership deal with two after-sales shops in Seoul and Busan for taxi maintenance and repairs.
However, it is looking to expand the number of shops it opens after analyzing performance of those two shops.
The company said that those who want to participate in RSM’s taxi-only after sales business can have discount when purchasing RSM’s auto parts for taxi and also get additional training for car repairs.
