Premiums for naphtha cargoes double from in March

Korea’s YNCC has bought two naphtha cargoes totalling 45,000 to 60,000 tons for first-half April delivery to Yeosu at premiums of about $8 a tonne to Japan quotes on a C&F basis, traders said yesterday. These new premiums were more than double what YNCC paid for second-half March cargo, Reuters data showed, although was still sharply below what it had paid in December for a first-half February cargo at $17.50.
