Renault Samsung Motors donates engines to schools

Renault Samsung Motors said yesterday that the company is donating 233 engines from its SM5 sedans and QM5 sport utility vehicles to nine schools for educational purposes.
The Korean unit of French automaker Renault said that the engines are worth 500 million won ($469,000) and will be donated to schools that have automobile-related curriculums.
As a part of its company-school cooperation program, Renault Samsung has donated 410 vehicles, 700 engines and 461 transmissions to local schools since 2003.
