Hana Financial Group elevates president of KEB Capital

Hana Financial Group yesterday nominated Korea Exchange Bank Capital President Kim Han-jo to be the next president and CEO of Korea Exchange Bank.

Kim has worked for KEB since 1982. He will replace current CEO Yun Yong-ro, who is finishing a two-year term.

Hana Financial Group said Kim, Yun and KEB Vice President Shin Hyun-seung were the three finalists for the job.

Meanwhile, Hana Bank President and CEO Kim Jong-jun will extend his term for two years. The 58-year-old competed with two Hana Bank vice presidents.

The two CEOs will officially assume their positions after receiving approval from the upcoming board meeting and shareholders’ meeting.
