Export value from Kaica’s suppliers up, at 10 trillion won
Korea Auto Industries Cooperative Association (Kaica) said yesterday that export value from first-tier suppliers of Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors to other global automakers reached nearly 10 trillion won ($9.3 billion) in 2013.Kaica said that some 300 first-tier suppliers have exported 9.66 trillion won worth of products in 2013 to global automakers, excluding Hyundai and Kia. This is 960 billion won more than 2012 and more than 4 trillion won than in 2011, when they sold 5.4 trillion won in parts overseas.
