Film brings artsy 1970s to life

Actress Han Hyo-joo is considering joining the upcoming film “C'est Si Bon.”

“It’s true that Hyo-joo is considering the film for her next move,” said an official of her agency, BH Entertainment.

After winning the Best Actress Award in 2013 Blue Dragon Awards for her turn in the film “Cold Eyes,” many industry insiders wondered what her next film would be.

Local media reported that actor Jung Woo of tvN’s “Respond, 1994” (2013) will also star in the new film.

“C'est Si Bon” was a popular coffee house in Seoul in the 1970s, where aspiring musicians gathered to perform live music every night.

After singers Cho Young-nam, Song Chang-sik, Yoon Hyung-joo, and Lee Jang-hee—the main members of the music house — appeared in the MBC entertainment show “Come to Play” in 2010, Korean classic pop lovers have shown a great interest in the club by attending its annual concerts in town.

The film “C'est Si Bon” will depict some interesting episodes featuring the aforementioned artists in the 1970s.
