Swing web browser claims to have 700,000-plus users

Korean web browser Swing now has more than 700,000 users, according to its developer, Zum Internet, yesterday.

Swing is the only domestically developed web browser. Microsoft’s Explorer claimed 79.77 percent market share in Korea’s web browser market as of last month, according to StatCounter.

Swing is vying against Explorer and other foreign competitors such as Google Chrome, Apple’s Safari and Mozilla’s Firefox.
