With new chairman in place, Posco reshuffles affiliate execs
Posco undertook an executive level reshuffle at its affiliates yesterday, three days after Chairman Kwon Oh-joon officially became the chief of nation’s largest steelmaker .The conglomerate said Posco Engineering and Construction will be led by Hwang Tae-hyun, who was formerly Posco E&C vice president.
At Posco Energy, Vice President Hwang Eun-yeon was promoted to president and CEO of the energy affiliate.
Posco P&S, a steel material processing affiliate, will be headed by Shin Young-kwon, who is vice president of Posco’s trading affiliate, Daewoo International, while the new Posco Specialty Steel CEO will be Posco’s Senior Vice President Seo Young-se.
Meanwhile, Posco said four female employees have been promoted to executives yesterday in a bid to boost utilization of women.
