GS Engineering and Construction develops LNG technology
GS Engineering and Construction, under GS Group, said yesterday it has developed its own design technology for a liquefied natural gas processing plant.The company began joint research with state-run Korea Gas Corporation in 2008. GS E&C began designing a test-bed plant located in Incheon in April 2009 and completed construction last March. Since then it has been testing the operation and recently produced 100 tons of LNG per day. GS E&C said that it hopes to explore the overseas LNG plant market.
