Posco announces advanced capacity LNG storage tank
Posco, Korea’s largest steelmaker, said yesterday that it has developed a liquefied natural gas storage tank made of high-manganese steel in collaboration with the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.The company said its tank can store up to 20,000 cubic meters of LNG, 20 times more than the previous largest storage tank.
Posco said that its new high manganese steel LNG tank will showcase at Gastech 2014 which opens at Kintex in Ilsan, Gyeonggi, next Monday.
