Districts bump up their cherry blossom festivals

테스트

Citizens take a walk yesterday under a canopy of cherry blossoms along Seokchon Lake in Songpa District, southern Seoul. With cherry blossoms blooming much earlier than forecast, many district offices in Seoul moved up the dates for their planned cherry blossom festivals by one or two weeks. The Yeongdeungpo District Office moved up the dates for its annual spring cherry blossom festival in Yeouido to run from April 3 to 13. It was initially scheduled from April 13 to 20. The Songpa District Office pushed up its festival dates to April 4 through 6 from the originally planned April 11 to 13. Other district offices in Seoul, which originally planned to organize their cherry blossom festivals in mid-April, also advanced their festival periods by one or two weeks. For more information on cherry blossom festivals, contact the 120 Dasan Call Center or each district office. [NEWS1]
