Retailers are ready for summer
An E-Mart employee sets up swimming pool accessories for sale at the retailer’s branch in Yongin, Gyeonggi, yesterday, a month earlier than usual as temperatures rise and some outdoor swimming pools prepare to open for business as early as in two weeks. Sales of other summer-associated products such as watermelon and ice cream are rising rapidly, as are sales of camping gear such as tents. Temperatures have been averaging in the 20 degree Celsius range.
