Samsung wins contract with Swiss rail operator
Samsung Electronics said yesterday it has been chosen as the sole provider of mobile office devices for the Swiss state-run railroad operator. The devices will be used for ticketing, train-facility inspection and office work by employees at Schweizerische Bundesbahnen beginning this month, Samsung said. About 30,000 smart devices will be supplied to the Swiss company by the year’s end.
