Honda Korea sold more than 10,000 motorcycles in 2013
Honda Korea said yesterday that its motorcycle sales have surpassed 10,000 units in the fiscal year 2013, becoming the first foreign brand to reach that level.According to the Japanese brand, from April 2013 to April 2014, the company sold 3,412 units of PCX scooters and 1,920 units of Benly 110 small motorcycles, which have an engine emission of 125cc or lower.
In large-size motor cycles, Honda, which sells its CBR500R, Forza, and Goldwing models in Korea, sold 872 units. Honda’s latest sales tally is a big increase over last year’s 6,310 units.
The company’s motorcycle business has contracts with five local dealers and 45 sales shops in Korea, but it plans to expand the number of shops.
