Ham Eun-jung, of K-pop girl group T-ara, might debut on the silver screen this season.

According to her agency, Core Contents Media, Ham is being considered for a part in the comedy gangster film “Dusabu Begins,” which will be directed by Park Sung-kyun.

But the agency noted that Ham still needs to check if her schedule fits with the filming before confirming her part.

Core also said another of its actors, Son Ho-joon of “Respond, 1994,” has confirmed that he will join the “Dusabu” team. Core handles Son’s entertainment activities.

Launched in the early 2000s, the “Dusabu” series has enjoyed huge popularity throughout the last decade. The movies, of which there are four in total, including the upcoming feature, profile the fictional antics of a group of gangsters, or jopok.

The production team will start shooting this summer.
