Through April: The Japanese restaurant Murasaki presents a seasonal menu with estuary oysters. Estuary oysters are native to the Seomjin River in North Jeolla, where fresh water meets salt water. Also called the “cherry blossom oyster” because it matures during the cherry blossom season, these oysters are six times larger than sea oysters and considered a spring delicacy.

Three different dishes will be prepared using jumbo oysters. You can have your oysters grilled, roasted or steamed. The price is 48,000 won ($46), including taxes and service charges.
