Renault Samsung Motors to recall more than 161,000 SM5s

Renault Samsung Motors will recall 161,700 of its SM5 midsize sedan due to problems in its cable connector fin, according to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.

The ministry said that bad contact inside the connector, which connects the ignition coil cable and engine cable, could cause the engine to switch off and could lead to unstable rpm changes.
