Squeezebox worlds

Artist Cha Min-young’s “Missing Link” series looks like suitcases and accordions (above). But if visitors look into the viewers on the sides of the accordions, they will discover small miniatures full of mystery (left).

Cha’s works are part of the ongoing “Nomadic View” show at the Museum of Art at Seoul National University. The exhibition, featuring 22 artists from Korea, Germany and other countries, deals with issues of travel and nomadism.

They range from commercial designs and architecture for the convenience of travel to artworks that enable viewers to travel without going anywhere. Cha’s works are included in the latter. Provided by the museum
