LG files application to register ‘W Watch’ as U.S. trademark
LG Electronics filed an application to register “W Watch” as a U.S. trademark, according to the database of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.The company said in its April 18 application that it intends to use the term with smartphones, including those in glasses and wristbands.
The name will also be used for pulse and heartbeat measuring devices, as well as tablet computers and clocks, according to the application.
