As the president of the government, which must protect the lives of the people, I feel severely heartbroken,” said Park in the meeting. “I think it is what I should do to make an apology with coming up with alternatives to the public after doing my best to recover all the missing passengers and to refurbish the national system.” The meeting with faith leaders was organized for Park to ask religious groups to help people overcome the Sewol ferry disaster.
