2014 Korea Economic Forum on Wednesday

Financial group leaders, diplomats and CEOs of foreign companies attend the 2013 Korea Economic Forum in the Millennium Seoul Hilton in central Seoul.

The Korea JoongAng Daily will host the 2014 Korea Economic Forum on May 14 in the Orchid Room of the Westin Chosun Seoul Hotel in central Seoul.

The annual forum is aimed at helping financial group leaders, diplomats and CEOs of foreign companies better understand key issues affecting the Korean economy.

In its eighth year, the forum’s keynote address will be delivered by Shin Je-yoon, chairman of the Financial Services Commission, who will speak on financial policies for a unified Korea.

The conference, which will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 8:50 a.m., will be moderated in English with simultaneous interpretation offered during the speech and the question-and-answer session.
