Pfizer Korea debuts vitamin supplement for bone strength

Pfizer Korea said yesterday that has released a vitamin supplement product called Caltrate Plus D 500 in the local market.
According to the U.S.-based pharmaceutical company, the pill contains calcium, vitamin D and four different minerals including copper, zinc, manganese and magnesium. The product helps strengthen bones.
Data from the government’s 2012 National Health Survey showed that the calcium intake of an average Korean woman is 67 percent of the recommended amount.
