President Park Geun-hye greets Ho Ching, CEO of Singapore state-run investment company Temasek. According to the Blue House, Park thanked Temasek for its investments in Korean start-ups, while adding that there are a lot more potential investment opportunities. The Temasek chairwoman and CEO, who is the wife of Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and daughter-in-law of former Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew, was in Korea for the five-day Temasek Connection event that runs through Friday at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Seoul. The event includes seminars and lectures as well as promotion of Korean products and visits to major Korean companies. [Joint Press Corp.]
