AirAsia X, Air Busan team up to offer new flight to Jeju

AirAsia X, the long-haul arm of Asia’s largest low-cost carrier, AirAsia, said yesterday it signed a commercial marketing agreement with Air Busan, Korea’s third largest budget airline.
Malaysia-based AirAsia X commenced its first flight into Busan from Kuala Lumpur last July with four weekly flights to the city.
The marketing agreement would offer passengers the option to travel on to Jeju Island at a discounted fare, it said.
Those opting to travel from Busan to Jeju Island may take advantage of this deal as Air Busan, which is partially owned by Asiana Airlines, is offering discounts of up to 50 percent.
