Samsung Electronics’ head of system LSI replacedKim Ki-nam, president of the memory business in Samsung Electronics’ device solutions division, will also head the division’s system LSI business, Samsung officials said yesterday.
They said the reshuffle, which will take effect tomorrow, is to fill in the gap left by Woo Nam-sung, who sustained a back injury while commuting to work recently and will focus on treatment for the time being.
Jun Young-hyun, executive vice president of memory sales and marketing for Samsung Electronics, will assume the official title of the head of memory business, but Kim will oversee it, the officials said.
