Korean automakers report flat domestic sales for May
Domestic automakers sales in Korea remained practically unchanged last month compared with a month earlier, while exports inched down by 0.3 percent.The five automakers sold 746,978 cars last month, only 50 more than in May 2013. Domestic sales last month stood at 121,239, up 1.8 percent, but overseas sales dropped to 625,739.
Renault Samsung saw the sharpest increase, selling 7,400 cars in Korea last month, up 60.8 percent year-on-year.
