Lotte outlets get quality certificates from ChinaThree outlets operated by Lotte Department Store received quality certificates from the China National Tourism Administration, the leading retailer said yesterday. The three outlets are -- an outlet near Seoul Station in central Seoul and two premium outlets in Paju and Icheon, both in Gyeonggi. According to Lotte, the Chinese government has introduced the certificate system in 2009 to protect Chinese tourists from unfair shopping practices. Targets include shopping malls, hotels and restaurants and certificates are given based on a survey of Chinese tourists’ on satisfaction and travel safety. The quality certificates Lotte’s outlets received are valid from July 1 to June 30.
