Pantech to offer engraving on Vega Iron 2 at more stores
Pantech, Korea’s smallest mobile phone maker, said yesterday a total of 500,000 people participated in its Signature Studio Event to celebrate the release of its flagship smartphone Vega Iron 2.At the Signature Studio Event, customers could have their name, initials or a design engraved into their phone’s metal frame.
The studio has become hugely popular, with an average of 15,000 people per day visiting the event studio, according to Pantech.
“In particular, female consumers who like more stylish designs visited the event studios most. They are very popular with young female consumers,” said a manager at Pantech.
The mobile phone manufacturer will expand the number of stores that offer engraving from eight to 25.
