Sony Korea started taking orders for its 35-mm full-frame mirrorless camera A7S yesterday, the newest model in its Alpha-A7 series.
The A7 series has been recording the highest sales in the domestic full-frame camera market for the past six months.
A7S, launched in November, has become acclaimed as the world’s smallest and lightest full-frame camera with interchangeable lenses.
The new model provides a clear picture with high sensitivity even when shooting under extreme conditions, according to Sony Korea.
Presales are available at Sony’s online store until the cameras sell out. Sony will give a SDXC 64 GB memory card for shooting high-quality photos to all presale customers. The A7S costs 2.599 million won ($2,545).
Regular sales of the A7S will begin June 26 at nationwide online and offline Sony stores.
