Starbucks Korea gets Wi-Fi service that is 3 times faster

Starbucks Korea said yesterday that it has started offering a free Wi-Fi service that is more than three times faster than its previous service at its 640 stores nationwide.

According to the Seattle-based coffee chain, consumers at Starbucks stores can connect to “GigaWiFi olleh” regardless of which telecommunications company they subscribe to.

In a related event, consumers with Olleh memberships who log on to GigaWiFi at any Starbucks will be given a free size-up coupon until July 16.
