U.S. show rates 2NE1’s ‘Crush’ highly

2ne1
The channel described “Crush,” which was listed in 20th place, as “forward-thinking” and full of “wholly accessible tracks.” Lead singer CL’s solo “MTBD” was also praised for its progressive sound that reminded Fuse of DJ Snake’s “Turn Down for What.”
Among the top 25 albums, “Crush” was the only album to be made in an Asian country. Other records on the list included big names in pop such as Pharrell Williams, Mariah Carey and Coldplay.
“Crush,” which is the group’s second full-length album to come out in almost four years, was released in Korea in February. Its lead-off track “Come Back Home” swept online music charts when it was released, while its other songs also did well. 2NE1 will continue its world tour “All or Nothing” in Singapore on June 28.
