Daewoo Engineering and Construction, the nation’s third-largest builder, said yesterday that it won a 398.7 billion won ($394 million) order to build Korea’s largest hotel complex.

The complex will have three main buildings on 14,798 square meters (159,284 square feet) of land in Yongsan District, central Seoul. Construction will begin next month and is expected to take 33.5 months.

Daewoo E&C said that the hotel will have 1,730 rooms, making it bigger than Lotte Hotel in Sogong-dong in central Seoul, which has 1,156 rooms. The hotel will be managed by Accor Ambassador Korea.
