Gong Hyo-jin treated for a torn ACL

“Gong is currently hospitalized after receiving reconstructive surgery on her ACL,” her agency, Soop Entertainment, told reporters yesterday. “The surgery went well and she will leave the hospital in about two or three days.”
Gong was involved in a three-car rear-end collision in June on her way back to Seoul after shooting scenes for the SBS drama “It’s Okay, It’s Love.”
At the time, the agency said Gong only received light injuries, including a scratch on her forehead and fractures to her left arm. However, she had recently complained of continuous pain in her knee, which turned out to be a torn ACL.
