Ye-eun to sing Korean anthem in U.S.

Ye-eun of the Wonder Girls

Ye-eun of the Wonder Girls will sing the Korean national anthem in the United States on Friday as part of a celebratory ceremony to commemorate “Korean-American Heritage Night” in Texas, according to the singer’s agency, JYP Entertainment.

The Texas Rangers, a baseball team that features professional Korean player Choo Shin-soo, organized with the local Korean-American community to have a Korean singer perform prior to a match against the Los Angeles Angels at Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas.

Although the performance will be in the evening, the singer will also join Choo earlier for a fan signing event at 11 a.m.

The singer is currently traveling in the United States with Yu-bin, a fellow member of the Wonder Girls. The two posted a photo together in Central Park, New York, last week.
