Psy reaches YouTube’s K-pop top spot

World star Psy once again grabbed the No. 1 spot among the most-watched K-pop music videos on YouTube.

The online video-streaming website yesterday released the list of the most-viewed K-pop music videos from Dec. 1 last year to June 30 this year.

Psy’s “Hangover,” launched June 9, gathered the most hits at almost 100,000 views within a month of its release.

Girls’ Generation earned second-place glory with “Mister Mister,” which came out in February last year, and boy group Exo followed in third place with “Overdose.” Exo also managed to put its video to “Miracles in December” in fifth place on the chart.

YG Entertainment’s girl group 2NE1 had “Come Back Home” in fourth place while the same agency’s Tae-yang, a member of all-male group Big Bang, saw his “Eye, Nose, Lip” at sixth place.
