Dongbu Farm sells drinking water plant for $6.2 million
Dongbu Farm Hannong, the agriculture business affiliate of Dongbu Group, said yesterday it sold its drinking water plant in Sangju, North Gyeongsang, for 6.3 billion won ($6.2 million) to local health care company Dong-A Socio Holdings.However, though the company is selling the plant, it will continue to distribute the drinking water. Dongbu Farm Hannong said that Dong-A Socio Holdings agreed to supply its “Gaya g water” product for three years on an OEM basis.
