A 97,000-ton nuclear-powered U.S. supercarrier arrives in the port of Busan yesterday ahead of a joint naval search and rescue drill between Korea, the United States and Japan. The George Washington strike group of the U.S. Seventh Fleet includes some 70 aircraft such as the strike fighter Super Hornet and multimission helicopter Sea Hawk. The trilateral Search and Rescue Exercise, or SAREX, is slated for July 21 to 22 in waters south of Jeju, off the southern coast of Korea. [NEWSIS]
