Renault Samsung Motors (RSM) has become the first automaker this year to suffer disrupted production because of a job action by its labor union.
The union of RSM held a two-hour work stoppage yesterday afternoon, which delayed production of about 90 vehicles.
The union approved the strike last week with 90.7 percent support from its members. It claimed that management hasn’t followed an agreement it made last year. The union is demanding higher base pay and bigger bonuses.
