Published: 15 Jul. 2014, 21:09

Officials from about 20 business lobby groups including the nation’s largest advocate for conglomerates, the Federation of Korean Industries, as well as the Korea International Trade Association and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, gathered in Yeouido, southwestern Seoul, yesterday to advise the government to push back the date for carbon emission trading. The carbon plan was scheduled to be adopted in January, and government officials who attended the forum argued that the date can’t be changed because it is stipulated by law.[NEWS1]
