Awarding accuracy

The JoongAng Ilbo and Thomson Reuters gave out their joint annual best analyst awards at the Westin Chosun Hotel in Sogong-dong, central Seoul, yesterday. A total of 34 awards were given to analysts who accurately predicted the earnings of companies and the movements of their share prices last year. Hyundai Securities, IBK Investment and Securities, and Shinhan Investment Corp. topped the awards, producing seven winners each.
