Sony discounting headphones if customers bring in old pair
Sony Korea yesterday launched a sales event in which consumers can return their old headphones and exchange them to receive a discount of up to 50 percent on new high-resolution earphones or headphones from the company.The sales event will run through Aug. 20 and is taking place at Sony Korea stores and its online stores at Internet shopping malls such as Auction, Gmarket and 11th Street.
According to market research agency, GfK, Sony Korea is leading the Korean headphone market in terms of cumulative sales between 2010 and May this year.
